I have mixed feelings about doing these in the first place, but since there’s a national championship, I thought I’d do my best at putting together rankings.
This really reminds me of late 90s high school quiz bowl, when the power teams were largely clustered geographically and there weren’t nearly as many teams playing on pyramidal questions.
I really don’t have a comfort level here in terms of how accurate I think these adjustments are. Some of them are based on straight translations for my high school calculations. So, don’t go betting money based off of this.
Also, I can almost guarantee that I’ve mixed up the home states of teams in these rankings. Let me know if I messed anything up.

My only gripe with this is that last I saw, Marshal beat Barington pretty badly (at Knights Chellenge on an IS set). If anything else has happened since that would explain why I’m not in the loop

It seams like Ppb is a lot less important for middle school in determining who beats who than in high school or college. Mainly because of the impact a singular player has at higher level of competition.
It’s entirely possible you’re right. I just don’t think we know enough at this point to be able to draw too many conclusions.
Brad, Station didn’t lose that bad. It was forty points as I recall. There was never a blowout game between Station and Marshall, all the games they played have been down to the last tossup.

How did you get the ranking for Peachtree Charter A? On the NAQT website, they haven’t been listed as having participated in a tournament since 2012.
