2015 Pre-Nationals Quiz Bowl Rankings – 5/18/2015 (UPDATED!x3)
Here are the updated quiz bowl rankings. I’ve gone through 4824 complete stat lines, plus 200 stat lines of powers per game.
I’m working on the All-World Teams and hope to have them announced in the next week or so.
UPDATED: Due to irregularities with the statistics kept at the main BISB set, I had to drop those stats from consideration. This has results in some significant movement in the rankings, which are now reflected below.
UPDATED #2: First of all, there were two entries for Livingston B; one of these were meant to be Livingston C, but there was an issue with an overlap of stats between the two teams. This resulted in Livingston B moving up and C moving down the rankings.
There was a further issue with a late update being applied to Richard Montgomery A’s stats at Blair Spring. This increased RM’s aPPB from there to the point that they should have earned the #1 spot in the rankings. I apologize for the confusion; the rankings have been updated below to reflect this.
UPDATED #3: After the last update, I received multiple emails containing additional stats I missed, including one from Ohio back in November. I’ve applied all of this information to these rankings, and we have settled on a final set of them. No more corrections will be accepted from this point forward for the purpose of updating the placement of teams.
Congratulations to our final #1 team, Detroit Catholic Central A!
