Happy holidays everyone! I’ve added a handful of tournaments, including some projections from CATT based on power rates.
Update to the last rankings
I discovered that Martin County CAC is not affiliated with Martin County High School, but with three different schools in that county. As such, they’re not eligible to be ranked. I’ve removed them from the rankings and moved Essex A into the rankings.
Top 150 Quiz Bowl Teams INTERNATIONALLY – 12/13/2013
We recently added a Canadian team to the rankings, but now, we leave North America! I’ve also recalculated all the difficulty adjustments, so this will be a big shakeup in the rankings!
Additionally, I’m planning on sending a letter to the principals of the top 100 schools notifying them of their team’s/teams’ accomplishments. If this would actually not be beneficial to your team, though, please notify me by emailing me at fredmorlan@gmail.com by SUNDAY, 12/15/2013.
Top 100 – 11/25/13
Edit: I was informed of the wrong set that was used at a California JV set; this has been correct and dropped four teams out of the top 100, and put 3 back in. Apologies for the mistake.
Happy early Thanksgiving! We have two teams moving into the top 10 and 15 new teams in the top 100!
Top 100 – 11/17/2013
This week in the rankings: a new top 5 team! Nine new teams! And Canadians, on my American Internet?!

Middle School Top 10 – 10/15/13
I’m going to try something new this year: middle school rankings. I only have about four tournaments in my stats, so obviously this won’t hold too much meaning towards teams that haven’t played yet.
This is going to be less of a priority than the high school rankings. So between that and the smaller number of tournaments, there will be fewer ranked teams.
